We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Kenyatta Felder early Monday morning. Kenyatta was a soft-spoken but friendly and approachable gentleman, who was a pleasure to work with. A man of high character that was always willing to lend a helping hand to his co-workers no the matter the size of the task at hand. He is one of a handful of employees who have ever worked the third shift at Humphrys. He would always adjust his schedule to help out the company and his co-workers. When “Yat” or “Ken” how he was affectionately known by his peers did engage you in conversation it was to speak about his family ( 5 kids and a loving wife). Yat was also an extremely gifted musician who wrote songs with substance namely “My City need a million prayers” in an effort to help stem the violence in the city of Philadelphia. The infectious smile you would receive along with the greeting of good morning or good night in that deep baritone voice will sorely be missed. Our heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to his brother Lance and the rest of the Felder family.
